The
Billfish
is a 1999 36' Wayne Beal custom sportfisher. She
has an all fiberglass construction powered by a
425 HP Caterpillar 3208T/A. And of course she
has the latest in electronics and back up
electronics.
Below decks is a full head, and a galley area
with a microwave. The cockpit is spacious with
plenty of room for all six anglers along with a
large insulated fish box with enough space to
hold the catch of the day. There are 15 rod
holders along the gunnels and transom. For your
safety there is an eight man SOLAS life raft and
a E-PIRB in addition to all required US Coast
Guard safety equipment. |

Captain Bill Brown
- has fished from the Gulf of Maine to
Havana, Cuba, and has over 25 years of
saltwater charter experience holding a
100 Ton Master Mariner's License. He has
been featured on regional and national
outdoor T.V. shows, is a featured
speaker at sportsmen shows, and is a
well known outdoor writer. His clients
hold five Rhode Island and one MA State
Game Fish Record, and have won, or
placed, in a multitude of both inshore
and offshore tournaments, including
First Place in the 2003 Oak Bluffs
Monster Shark Tournament. Captain Bill
Brown has pioneered the use of fly
tackle in the pursuit of sharks and tuna
on the offshore grounds. He is really a
fun guy to go fishing with!

Captain Pat Brown
- started fishing as a mate with his
father Captain Bill Brown at a young age
of 13. He has seen more large sharks
landed than most fishermen twice his
age. In the years working with his
father he has learned everything from
bait rigging to boat handling. He has
worked the cockpit in many major
tournaments from Cape Cod to Florida and
has placed in many and in 2003 took
first place in the 2003 Oak Bluffs
Monster Shark Tournament with his father
Captain Bill Brown. He has completed his
BS degree at the University of Rhode Island
in Fishing and Fisheries
Science and Management. He enjoys
scuba diving, photography and kayaking.
Pat holds an OUPV coastal water license
and is a member of many pro staffs
including Aftco, Mustad and Penn.

Captain Tom
Logan - has fished from Maine
to Florida, California to Hawaii and
north to Alaska. He has held a captains
license for over 10 years. He has a
commercial fishing background and enjoys
fishing the offshore canyons for tuna
and billfish. He enjoys diving and
spearfishing when not fishing. Captain
Tom Logan holds a OUPV coastal water
license and is a member of the IGFA and
the Rhode Island Party & Charter Boat
Association.
