Q. |
Do I
need to bring any fishing tackle or bait?
|
| |
|
A. |
No,
we provide all the fishing tackle and bait
necessary. However, if you want to bring
your own tackle please discuss it first with the
captain so that we can make accommodations for
it. Please remember that we cannot be
responsible for lost or broken fishing tackle.

Q. |
Do I
need a fishing license? |
| |
|
A. |
All of our guests are covered under our
blanket boat license. |

|
| |
Q. |
Should I bring along a cooler when I
arrive and come aboard the boat? |
| |
|
A. |
You
may want to bring a small cooler for
your food and drinks but a large cooler
is not necessary. However, if you plan
on taking fish home, we do recommend
that you bring a large cooler and leave
it in your vehicle.

Can I take my catch home to eat? |
| |
|
A. |
Definitely. Although sometimes we catch
a protected species, most are allowed to
be kept for consumption. |

Q. |
Where do I get my fish cleaned? |
| |
|
A. |
As a part of our service to you, we will
clean and package your fish when we
return to the marina. |

|
|
|
| |
Q. |
What happens if the weather is too bad
to fish and I have scheduled a charter
and paid a deposit? |
| |
|
A. |
No problem. Unless you hear differently
from the captain, it is best to plan to
be at the dock at the pre-arranged
departure time. If the captain
determines that a trip would be unsafe,
he will give you your option of
rescheduling another day or returning
your full refund. |

|
|
|
| |
Q. |
Do I tip the captain and mate?
|
| |
|
A. |
The mate works hard
to ensure that you have a safe and
successful trip. He is paid only by your
tips so it is customary to tip him
between 15% and 20% of the charter fee.
The captain would be flattered by a tip
but certainly does not expect one.
